Important Information
This information is important to know before scheduling a consult for a custom dress. This is also other important information you need to know.
General Information
I love to crochet. I have been crocheting for over 14 years. I am also a plus size woman who found a need for custom crochet wedding dresses. It is my passion to make you a special dress for your special day.
Traditionally wedding dresses are white, so yes I’ll have white as an option for dresses/outfits. Crocheted dresses/outfits aren’t traditional. I will have as many color options as the yarn company has variations for the yarn.
I am running this business by myself. When I’m able to I will hire other people to work with me. Until then, I appreciate your patience while I get this business up and running, and while making your custom dress. It will take time before I will have items up to buy.
I plan on making beautiful tops and skirts that would make for a wonderful outfit for your wedding.
I am working on making shawls, bouquets, flowers, veils, and more.
Time and supplies. It takes a lot of time to hand make each dress. It will take a month minimum, but more than likely will take months for me to finish the dress.
Supplies. Every dress is made with natural fibers. I only make the dresses, tops, and skirts with cotton or bamboo yarn. These yarns aren’t cheap. I chose to use higher quality yarn.
I ask to have a photo of you in your finished dress. This is not a requirement. I ask for this so I can have it on my website and social media to show the dresses and clothes that I have made.
I do not accept returns on custom pieces. This includes dresses, tops, and skirts. Why? Because of the time and effort it takes to put into these pieces.
My home studio is in Portland, Oregon. I travel all over the United States to do custom measurements.
Nope. I make dresses/outfits for any body. This is of course for someone who is genuinely wanking a dress/outfit. I am mostly geared for woman, but I can and will make a dress for men/woman/non-binary/trans/etc. I am very LGBTQ+ friendly. I’m Pansexual. I love my community.
If you are in need to make payment plans on anything on my site, please contact me. I will work with you to get what you want. Please note, if you are making a payment plan for a package you will need to pay in full before we are able to move forward with your consult.
I do not have a physical studio per say with hours that I operate. I am running this out of my home. I am available from an hour after I wake up (this always varies), to 6pm pacific time. I’m on the west coast.
I currently use Lion Brand Coboo yarn and Hobby Lobby’s I love this cotton yarn. When I can I will expand to use other yarns. In each listing I will have the type of yarn I use, and the brand of yarn as well.
Typically no. I try to focus on one person for your dress. If you are a same gender couple, and are both interested in having a custom dress from me, I will work with you separately to make your dream dress/outfit.
Custom Packages Information
I prefer one on one consults. This makes the process easier and feel more personal. If you feel you need a friend, then you can only have one female/non binary friend with you.
Please don’t have your partner with you in the consults.
This answer varies depending on your needs. For the deluxe package I can do one in person consult, and one video consult at no extra cost.
I can do more than one video consult, if there is a need.
I will have a contract for you to fill out and e-mail back to me signed to make sure you understand all the rules.
Virtual Package
If something happens and you need to cancel your virtual consult please let me know as soon as possible. I understand that things happen, but you will only get a 50% refund.
If you no show for the appointment then you don’t get any refund for your consult.
This is due to the time it takes from me, that a spot for consult could have been used for someone else.
Deluxe Package
If something happens and you need to cancel your deluxe package please let me know as soon as possible. Due to having to book airfare, hotel, and venue for this package, I cannot give a refund.
Frequent Cancellations
If you end up rescheduling or cancelling appointments multiple times I will refuse to work with you in the future.
If you don’t show up for your appointment, or if you cancel your appointment, on the day of the appointment, then I will charge you a fee. The fee is the same cost as the consults.
For a virtual consult I will charge $100.
For a deluxe consult I will charge $2,000.
Virtual Consult
If you are able to give me enough notice of having to reschedule your appointment I can try to work with you to reschedule the appointment. I have a reschedule fee of $50.
Deluxe Consult
If you are able to reschedule at least 30 days before the appointment/I haven’t purchased plane tickets and booked a hotel, then you will only pay a $50 reschedule fee.
If its less than 30 days/I’ve already booked the plane tickets and hotel, then you will be responsible for covering those costs.
Deluxe Package
While I empathize with an unplanned sickness, please be advised that I invest large amounts of money in advance to make your consult happen with flights and venue rentals. These are typically not refundable to us if we cancel them without at least 30 days notice.
If I have NOT already purchased flights and venues, I can reschedule your session for a minimum of 30 days out to give you time to feel better, get your strength back and/or be non-contagious. If you cannot move to another time, then you will have to pay the cancellation fee.
If I HAVE purchased flights and venues, then you will be solely responsible for reimbursing the total costs associated with your session (I will provide all receipts and proof of costs). Once paid, we will reschedule your session a minimum of 30 days out to give you time to feel better, get your strength back and/or be non-contagious.
If you do not wish to reimburse me for my direct cost losses, then you will forfeit your session, and you will be cancelled and you will not be eligible for rescheduling in the future.
What I mean by venue is I will rent an Air BnB to have our consult at. This helps to keep us safe.

I can only travel in the United States currently.
Since I live in the united states I need to have all measurements to be in inches. I am comfortable doing virtual packages, or custom sizing in different countries. I have noticed that doing conversions isn’t always accurate.
I will never ask you for a tip. If you feel like you want to give me a tip it is much appreciated.
